The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) is an independent state agency that serves as New Jersey's "bank for business" by financing small and mid-sized businesses, administering tax incentives to retain and grow jobs and revitalizing communities through redevelopment initiatives.

The State of New Jersey has dedicated millions of dollars for EDA to administer lending products that can help your bank retain important business and deposit relationships, attract new customers, improve lending ratios, and meet Community Reinvestment Act requirements.

Through our Main Street Business Assistance program and other lending products, New Jersey is committed to helping you build a relationship with one of our existing banking partners, or identify lending programs that will help strengthen your business opportunities. We can also help identify State incentives that can lower your operating costs.
